KRONENBERG – During Easter 2019 Paard&Koets and Horse Driving Kronenberg will join forces again. As two-unit the event welcomed 12,500 visitors in 2018 at Equestrian Center de Peelbergen in Kronenberg (NED). In the ambition to grow in visitor numbers, possibilities were sought to make the event more accessible. Entrance will be for free from 2019.
Thanks to the support of Province Limburg, the event has been made free of charge, which is expected to result in thousands of extra visitors. Furthermore Paard & Koets/Horse Driving Kronenberg will take place for the first time at Easter, a weekend in which the Dutch, Germans and Belgians go out en masse.
In addition, the connection between the fair and the driving competitions is optimized. In the outdoor area stands are added, and a modified walking route ensures that the visitors pass all stands. On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2019 the Peelbergen is dominated by everything that has to do with driving. On these days the fair is opened, there are shows and demonstrations of specialists from the sport and the marathon competitions and skill tests take place.
Several cozy catering points offer plenty of opportunity to meet each other between sports and trade fair visits. The dressage competition is scheduled for Thursday 18 and Friday 19 April, the exhibition and Demo Piste are not yet open on these days.
